Lindenwood's men and women's cross country teams competed in the MIAA Championships today. The men's team finished eighth, while the women finished eleventh.
Leading the way for the Lions, was sophomore
Nicholas Stewart. Stewart was the only runner from Lindenwood to finish in the top-10, crossing tenth, to earn an all-conference nod. Finishing behind Stewart for the men was
Colin Cernik, who finished 50th overall. The men finished eighth out of nine competing teams.
Leading the way for the Lady Lions was junior Carina Bungrad, finishing 56th overall. Behind Bungard was freshman
Ashley LaPointe, who finished 65th overall. Shortly behind her was fellow freshman
Elyse Flores for 70th place. Lindenwood finished 11th in the MIAA Championships.
Both teams will be competing in the NCAA Division II Central Regional at Wayne State College, in Wayne, Neb. on November 22nd.
