Lindenwood debate just missed advancement to the elimination rounds at the University of Central Oklahoma Joe C. Jackson Debates November 6-8 in Edmond, Okla.
 
The Junior division duo of Charles De Leon and Alex Johnson, as well as team of Logan Swinford and Tania Contreras both won three and lost three in preliminaries, but it wasn't enough to continue forward.  De Leon and Johnson ultimately finished eighth with wins over Oklahoma, host Central Oklahoma, and the University of Houston.  Swinford and Contreras finished ninth with wins against Augusta College and the University of Texas – San Antonio. 
 
A total of 15 teams from 11 different schools competed in the Junior division at the event.
