Lindenwood's cross country teams had an impressive showing at the Forest Park Invitational in St. Louis on Friday. The men's team won the 5k, riding two top-five finishes to beat the other nine competing teams. The women's team finished second overall, with three top-five finishes.

Leading the way for the men was the overall second place finisher,
Ero Doce, who was running in his second race for Lindenwood, finishing with a time of 16:21.
Colin Cernik was right on Doce's heels finishing third overall, running a time of 16:32.
Travis Staebell and
Paul Golian gave the Lions another back-to-back finish at sixth and seventh overall.

Lisa Feuerherdt took first the overall win for the Lady Lions, finishing first with a time of 18:27.
Aaryn Edge and Hannah Rae Finchamp finished fourth and fifth overall, helping the Lady Lions finish second out of 11 competing teams.

Lindenwood's cross country teams will take next week off, but the week after will be back in action when they travel to Memphis, Tenn. on September 26th for the Rhodes Cross Country Invitational.
