The Lindenwood cross country teams completed the NCAA Central Regional race in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday afternoon.

The men's team just missed the cut to send the team or individuals to the national meet.
Ero Doce led the men, finishing 17th in the 10k face with a time of 31:43.50. Doce's time placed him fifth among individuals who did not finish in one of the top four teams to qualify. Of the teams who fail to qualify for nationals, only the three-best individuals will advance.

Colin Cernik finished second on the team, and 40th overall.
Jerod Broadbooks (46th),
Omar Es Salmouny (48th), and
Austin Crowe (50th) finished within 13 seconds of each other.

Travis Staebell (99th) and Zach McKinley (135th) rounded out Lindenwood's competitors in the regional meet.

Overall, the men finished fifth with a total of 201 points, placing 54 tallies behind the last national qualifier as a team.

Kayli Brower finished first among the women's team, placing 125h overall with a time of 23:45.09. Brower's time was her best in the 6k race of the season, surpassing her MIAA Championship time by 47 seconds.

Ashley LaPointe finished nearly 21 seconds behind Brower, placing 134th in the field of 211.

Caitlyn Most (169th),
Amanda Brisso (175th), and
Elyse Flores (185th) finished within 46 seconds of each other.
Kelsey Robertson (196th) rounded out the Lindenwood finishers with a time of 26:22.62.

The men's fifth-place finish was the best in program history at the regional meet.
