The Lindenwood women's tennis team fell to UMSL by a final score of 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Lady Lions had a tough time generating momentum in doubles as they were swept with the closest score coming at No. 1.
Tereza Melicharkova and
Clara Piccamiglio competed to an 8-4 pro-set in the top doubles slot.

In singles, the closest matches occurred at No. 1 and No. 2 when Melicharkova and
Anna Barbasheva each split sets. Melicharkova played a super-tiebreaker for the third set and barely lost 10-7.

The Lady Lions will resume play on Friday when they take on MIAA-rival Southwest Baptist from Bolivar, Mo. at 1 pm.
