The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday morning.
 
The men's team finished seventh overall with 202 points and finished third among thirty Division II teams. The women finished twenty-fifth overall against Division II opponents.
 
Omar Es Salmouny finished 27^th in the 10K with a final time of 30:52. He moved up thirty-eight spots after his first mile. Other notable runners for the men include Austin Crowe and Jerod Broadbooks. Crowe finished 34^th overall with a final time of 31:02 and Broadbooks finished 36^th with a final time of 31:09.
 
Kayli Brower finished 208^th for Lindenwood in the 5K with a final time of 20:07.2.
 
Both teams will be back in action on October 7^th as they compete in the Lewis Conference Crossover.
