Table tennis earned seven, top-three finishes at the Arnold Challenge March 3-4 at the Center Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio.
Santiago Sevilla was the top performer with a victory in the U2350 division over teammate Kanashiro Joaquin, who took second.Â
Five other players advanced to semifinal action before elimination to finish in third place. Jeff Yamada did so in the U2550 Round Robin, Alex Legaria in the U2450 Round Robin, Filip Cajka in the U2250 division, Michael Nunes in U1050, and Massao Kohatsu in Open Singles.
The event attracted 366 players overall competing in 37 different divisions.Â
After an idle weekend, the Lions return to the tables for the St. Joseph Valley Open March 17-18 at the Lincoln Center Field House in South Bend, Indiana.
