The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams each picked up a win on senior day which was held Wednesday in St. Charles, Mo.

The men's program earned a 5-2 win over the Lynx, including a sweep in doubles competition.Â
Theo Butaeye had the most convincing win on the day, earning two sets wins by scores of 6-1 and 6-2.Â
Tudor Ghenea picked up a two-set victory in his match, while
Michele Gaspari and
Carlos Clerins earned their wins in three sets.

The women's team picked up its first win of 2019 with a 6-0 sweep over Lindenwood-Belleville.Â
Haya Hamed and
Kylie McCarthy each earned a 6-1 and 6-0 win in their respective matches.Â
Dana Minakova and
Natalia Cordero won their sets by the same score of 6-1. The Lions outscored the Lynx 12-0 in the two doubles matches played.

The women's tennis team is set to take on Western Illinois at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Macomb, Ill., while the men's team concluded its regular season on Wednesday.
