Things to Know
• The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team will play in its sixth consecutive NCAA Championship Tournament on May 10 in Denver, Colo. The Lions enter the postseason as the second-ranked team in the Midwest Region, and will face the third-ranked Colorado Mesa Mavericks at 3:00 p.m. in the NCAA first round.
• The winner of the first-round matchup between Lindenwood and Colorado Mesa will advance to the NCAA Quarterfinal on Sunday, May 12 against either Regis or UIndy. Regis is the top-seeded team in the Midwest Region, while UIndy is ranked fourth.
• Lindenwood has faced Colorado Mesa two times this season, and has outscored the Mavericks by a 38-24 margin during those two contests, both wins for the Lions. Most recently on May 3, Lindenwood defeated Colorado Mesa in the RMAC Tournament Semifinals by a final score of 20-9.
• Lindenwood holds a 12-0 advantage all-time over Colorado Mesa dating back to the 2012 season.
• Lindenwood has faced Regis two times this season, with the Rangers prevailing in both contests. Most recently, the two longtime rivals played a triple-overtime thriller in the RMAC Championship game on May 5, with Regis securing a 16-15 win.
• The Lions have won 12 of the 16 all-time meetings with the Rangers since the 2012 season, although Regis has won each of the last three contests.
• Lindenwood and UIndy last played to open the 2018 season, a game which resulted in a 11-7 win for the Lions. Lindenwod owns a 3-0 edge in the all-time series dating back to the start of the 2016 campagin.
Lindenwood Notes:
• Lindenwood has been led on offense by the duo of
Carly Fedorowski and
Hailey Gallant. The two are tied for the team-lead with 59 points this season.
• Fedorowski has scored a team-high 43 goals, including hat tricks in nine of her 17 games. Fedorowski has at least one point in each game that she has appeared in this year.
• In addition to her offensive prowess, Fedorowski leads the team in draw controls (67), ground balls (56), and caused turnovers (36).
• Fedorowski recently became the second Lion in program history to register 100 draw controls, 100 ground balls, and 100 caused turnovers for her career. Fedorowski currently has 97 career goals scored.
• Gallant is tied for second on the team with her 36 goals scored, and leads the squad with 23 assists.
• Gallant has registered at least one point in 15 of the 16 games in which she has appeared in this season, and has totaled four points or more in a game seven times.

Abby Hagberg is tied with Gallant for second on the team in goals scored with 36. Hagberg has eight hat tricks this season and has netted at least one goal in 13 of the 14 games in which she has appeared in.

Morgan Reader has been a force on defense for the Lions this season, ranking second on the team in all major defensive categories. Reader has secured 64 draw controls, scooped up 50 ground balls, and caused 29 turnovers.
• Lindenwood had nine total all-RMAC selections in 2019, tied for the most in the conference. Among the nine honorees were three first-team selections; Fedorowski, Gallant, and Reader.

Aly Smith has started all 18 games in goal for Lindenwood this season, en route to a 16-2 record and a .433 save percentage.
• Smith's 16 wins this season are the second most in a single season in program history, trailing only
Rachel Ortell's 19 in 2018.
• Smith made a career-high 12 saves in the RMAC Championship game against Regis on May 5, and has made at least six saves in a game nine times this season.

Maria Johnson secured a team-leading eight draw controls in the RMAC Championship game on May 5. Johnson's eight draws gave her 195 for her career, the most in program history.
• Lindenwood has one of the top defensive units in all of NCAA Division II, allowing just 6.89 goals per game, the fifth lowest total in the nation.
• The Lions have held their opponents to single-digit scoring totals 14 times in 18 games this season, including nine games in which the oppoennt did not score above five goals.
• Lindenwood has the 10th-best scoring margin in all of NCAA Division II, outscoring its opponents by an average of 8.56 goals per game.
