Two Lindenwood lacrosse student-athletes are set to represent their countries at the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Tokyo, Japan.
Alissa DiGiacinto will compete with Canada and Katerina Nájemníková will play for Czechia.

DiGiacinto started all 19 games in 2025 and ranked second on the team in goals (37), assists (18), and points (55). The Brooklin, Ontario native led the team with 123 draw controls and averaged 6.5 per game, third most in the ASUN. She also ranked 10th in the conference in goals per game at 2.06 and ranked fourth in the conference in shots per game. In the classroom, she was a member of the ASUN All-Academic Team.
Nájemníková is an incoming goalie and already has national team experience. She was a 2025 Women's European Sixes Silver Medalist, 2024 ELF Women's European Championship All-Star Goalie, 2023 Women's U21 European Championship Silver Medalist, All-Star Team Goalie and Championship MVP, as well as 2018 U20 Championship Goalie of the Tournament.
The 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship will be held in Tokyo, Japan, is the 12th global championship for women's international field lacrosse. Sixteen national teams are competing across 44 games in the tournament to determine the world champion.

- Oi Stadium: Hosts pool play and early playoff matchups.
- Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium: Hosts the semifinal games and the medal rounds.
