The Lindenwood swim program split a dual meet against Great Lakes Valley Conference rival McKendree on Friday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill.  The #7th ranked women's team defeated #21 ranked McKendree 180-116, while the #17 ranked Lions men's team fell to the #8 ranked Bearcats 172-122.  

On the women's side, sophomore Katie Werkema swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions.  Lindenwood women swimmers won a total of nine races on the day, including junior Lexie Winnett who won both the 50 Free and the 200 Breast.  Winners include

• 200 Breast - Lexie Winnett (2:27.24)
• 500 Free - Leticia Rodrigues (5:12.01)
• 3 Meter Diving - Katie Werkema (277.50)
• 200 IM - Meredith Riegler (2:10.47)

The men were victorious in three races on the day

• 200 Back - Melker Olsson (1:51.86)
• 200 Breast - Jerry Brown (2:06.94)
• 200 IM - Jan Hanzal (1:55.82)

The Lions will have one more dual meet on Saturday, January 25 as they swim in a dual versus Washington University in preparation for the GLVC Conference Meet that begins on February 12.
