The Lindenwood cross country teams ran at the GLVC Championships on Saturday, as the men's squad finished 5th among the eight teams running in the 8k A race, with a score of 127. The women finished 8th in the 6k A race, with a team total of 186. Both Najwa Chouati and Louis Moreau secured All-GLVC honors for the Lions, as they each finished with top-15 times among their respective A/B competition.

RECAPPING THE RUNNERS FOR THE WOMEN

• Najwa Chouati secured the highest finish for any Lindenwood women's runner, coming in 9th with a time of 22:05.70. Chouati was rewarded with the All-GLVC honors for her showing in the event.
• Rachael Morrison came in 21st for Lindenwood with a time of 22:55.77.
• Kirsten Huffman (24:36.45), Courtney Reid (24:52.81), and Athena Viers (24:56.89) finished 55th, 61st, and 63rd, respectively.
• Sydney Reid and Emma Hubbell finished 75th and 76th. S. Reid recorded a time of 26:09.85 and Hubbell finished in 28:43.14. Emma Leach notched a time of 13:17.89, and did not record a finishing placement.

RECAPPING THE RUNNERS FOR THE MEN

• Louis Moreau led the Lions, as he finished 6th, with a time of 25:20.51. Moreau has finished first among the team in all three races this season.
• Moreau also secured All-GLVC honors for the Lions, as he finished in the top-15 between the men's A and B races.
• Ben Stasney and Bramwell Havi each finished in the top-25 for Lindenwood. Stasney recorded a time of 25:51.10, and Havi followed with a time of 26:06.52.
• Edward Kipruto recorded a time of 26:26.34 for the Lions, as he finished 33rd. Timothy Maxwell (27:39.91), Benjamin Evers (29:51.93), and William Wallis (31:26.61) finished 60th, 71st, and 72nd, respectively.
