The Lindenwood Lions men's and women's cross country teams finish their second to last meet in their first season at the Division I level and the Ohio Valley Conference at the OVC Championships on Saturday, October 29^th, in Cookeville, Tenn., placing 9^th overall. Freshman Holly Harding received the OVC Female Freshman of the year award.

Notable Results
On the men's side, The Norway native, Freshman Anders Hekkli, ran 26:14.1 in the 8 Kilometer Race, placing 22nd out of 90 runners, and Sophomore France native Maxime Touron placed 41st, running 26.54.2 in the 8 Kilometer race.

The New Zealand native, Holly Harding, placed 37th out of 84 runners with a time of 24:01.7 in the 6 Kilometer race. Junior Kirsten Huffman from Jacksonville, Ill., ran a 24:08.0 6k race.
