The Lindenwood track and field teams traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships this weekend. Saturday's competition included several field event and multi-event finals as well as several preliminary races.
Lindenwood's event during day one was the weight throw as Lions graduate student
Logan Kulinski won the men's weight throw with a person best, and Lindenwood school record, toss of 19.12 meters, while sophomore
Ashley Shoemake finished fourth after tossing a personal best 16.22 meters which moved her up to fourth in school history.
After Day 1, the Lindenwood men's team sits in 4th place, while the women are in 9th entering Day 2. Top individual performers for the Lions include:
