The Lindenwood Lions men's & women's track and field teams travelled to Maryville, Missouri for the Bearcat Open and established or improved on nine different top 10 performances in school history. Senior
Samuel Yaro was the lone winner for the Lions, as he ran the 400 meters in a blistering 47.63 which is only .01 seconds off the school record, and currently tied for the fourth fastest time in the nation this season.
The Lions men's distance medley relay team of
Maxime Touron,
Romon Logan,
Brody Hudson and
Louis Moreau finished second in their race in a time of 10:01.58 which is third best in school history. On the women's side, junior
Rachael Morrison ran an NCAA Provisional time of 9:54.17, setting a new Lindenwood record and shattering the old school record which stood since 2009, and finished in fourth place.
