On Saturday, the Lindenwood women's tennis team defeated Bethel 8-1 in a dual match held at Principia College.
Singles play was a breeze for the Lions, with all six competitors winning their individual matches.
Fernanda Poblete had a comeback victory during her sets, winning the first 6-1, then falling 1-6 in the second. Her final set score was 10-4, allowing her to get the win in the end.
Doubles play was dominated by the pairings of
Claire Martin/
Jordan Le, who won 6-1, and
Natalia Cordero/
Juliana Kulczynski, who also won 6-1.
Trang Tran and Poblete fell in a tough matchup that resulted in Bethel's 6-4 win and lone victory of the day.
