The Lindenwood men's and women's cross country squads ran in the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo. on Friday.  The men's team finished in 21st, while the women took 24th in the event.
 
On the men's side, 
Maxime Touron ran a time of 26:02.0 in the 8000m run.  Just behind him by 2.5 seconds was freshman 
Anders Hekkli.  After 3000m, Touron moved up a total of 41 spots by the end of the race to finish in 164th place.  
Holly Harding secured a time of 23:03.3 in the 6000m run, as she had the best finish for the Lions on the women's event.
 
Lindenwood will return to action on October 14 to compete in the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill.
