On Friday and Saturday, the Lindenwood women's wrestling team competed at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Ky., placing 13th going 3-2 on the weekend.
Overview
The Lions competed against some of the top wrestling teams in the country. The Black and Gold started off the weekend by dropping their two matches on Friday to Colorado Mesa University (Colo.) by a score of 30 to 16 and Adrian College (Mich.) by a score of 25 to 17. On Saturday, the Lions would rebound and rattle off three wins to finish off their weekend, being victorious against Tiffin University by a score of 32 to 10 and Limestone University by a score of 26 to 11, and University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point by a score of 30 to 16.

Notable Performances
-Sophomore
Cayden Condit went 3-0 on the weekend in the 130-pound bracket. Condit would win the first match by a decision. In the Second match, Condit would win by pinning her opponent in eleven seconds and winning by a technical fall in the third match.
-Senior
Jasmine Ward went 3-0 on the weekend in the 123-pound bracket, picking up wins by pin and technical fall.
-Sophomore
Kelly Escamilla went 4-1 on the weekend at the 136-pound bracket, picking up wins by technical fall, injury, and two pins.
-Freshman
Alana Duggan went 4-1 over the course of the weekend in the 143-pound division, picking up wins by three pins and one technical fall.
