The Lindenwood women's wrestling team has finalized their schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 competition season. The Lions will compete at 10 different events during the regular season, including two at home in Hyland Arena.
Lindenwood opens the season at the Luther Hill Open in Indianola, Iowa on November 1st followed by a trip to Marshall for the Missouri Valley Open the following weekend.
The Lions will then return home to host the Lindenwood duals on Sunday, November 22nd before finishing 2026 at the Carthage Classic in Kenosha, Wisconsin on December 6th and the North Central Open in Naperville, Illinois on the 13th.
Following the New Year, Lindenwood will resume competition in Ohio at the Tiffin Duals on January 9th with the Missouri Baptist Open set for the next weekend on January 15th.
The Lions then travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma for duals against Northeastern State and Fort Hayes State on January 24th before hosting Senior Night against Quincy on February 3rd.
Lindenwood will conclude the regular season at the Lindsey Wilson Open in Columbia, Kentucky on February 6th.
NCAA Regionals are set to begin on February 20th with National Championships scheduled to get underway at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa on March 5th.
2026-27 will be the second season of women's wrestling as an NCAA sanctioned sport. Lindenwood posted an overall record of 6-4 last season, with
Jacinda Espinosa representing Lindenwood at the inaugural NCAA Championships after placing third at regionals to earn All-American honors.
