Lindenwood took on the 2023-24 ACHA Division I Runner Ups, UNLV. The Lions swept the Skatin' Rebels at home, registering a 5-1 win in game one, and a 6-3 win in game two. In the first game,
Drew Kuzma led Lindenwood in scoring (2g and 1a). In game two against UNLV, the Lions had six individuals registering two points.
Owen Bartoszkiewicz, Alex Aslanidis, and
Henry Graham all spent time in net over the weekend, making a combined 43 saves, for a combined .914 save percentage.

After two solid performances against UNLV, Lindenwood is looking to begin NCAA play with a sweep over nationally ranked Wisconsin. Wisconsin was #9 in the country in the country by the USCHO.
This will be the fifth and sixth meeting between the Lions and the Badgers. Historically, the Lions have never beaten the Badgers, accumulating a record of 0-3-1 against them. In the last meeting (January 13, 2024), the Lions tied the Badgers 3-3, however Wisconsin won the shootout 2-0.
In their first game of the year, the Badgers took on the University of Nebraska at Omaha in an exhibition, winning 3-2 in overtime. The Badgers return three of their top six point-getters from last season in junior forward Simon Tassy (12g, 16a), junior defenseman Ben Dexheimer (5g, 23a) and junior forward Christian Fitzgerald (7g, 17a). The Badgers return William Gramme back in cage, who ended the 2023-24 season with a 2-0-1 record, 1.13 goals-allowed on average, a .959 save percentage and one shutout.
