The Lions are looking to find the win column for the second straight week. In the Lions last game, Lindenwood fell to Stonehill 3-1 after holding the 1-0 lead for 33 straight minutes.
This will be the first and second ever meeting between the two teams.
Michigan State sit 9-1-0 on the season and are ranked #1 for the first time since
April of 2007, after winning the national championship. In their last series played, Michigan State defeated swept Notre Dame at home. In game one, the Spartans defeated the Fighting Irish 8-3. In game two, the Spartans defeated the Fighting Irish 4-3. The Spartans are fifth in the country in goals per game (3.80), and seventh in the country in goals against average (1.80). Isaac Howard leads the Spartans in scoring with 12 points (5g-7a). Daniel Russell leads Michigan State in goals with seven.
