The Lions are looking to get back into the win column after picking up a tie or a loss in their last three games.
This will be the third and fourth ever meeting between the two teams. The Lions remain winless against the Pioneers. In their last game against the Pioneers (December 17, 2022), the Lions fell the Pioneers 5-4.
The Pioneers were picked to finish first in the NCHC in the preseason. The reigning champs sit undefeated on the season with a record of 8-0-0. In their last series played, the Pioneers swept Yale, defeating the Bulldogs 6-0 in game one, and 5-1 in game two. Jack Devine leads Denver in points with 16 (1g-15a).
