The Lindenwood women's soccer team has announced the addition of three new players on National Signing Day including Lauren Hale, Mia Herrera, and Peyton Johnson. "I'm thrilled about this class", said LU head coach
Dave Musso. "We focused on quality over quantity, and all three players have the kind of high-level experience and success that will make a big impact at the college level."
Lauren Hale
Position: Goalkeeper
Height: 5'8"
Hometown: Fredericktown, Missouri
High School: Fredericktown High School
Club: St. Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL Navy
Hailing from Fredericktown, goalkeeper Lauren Hale joins the Lindenwood program following a decorated ECNL career for St. Louis Scott Gallagher, where she was a First Team Midwest Conference (U17) selection. Hale was a ECNL Finalist in 2022 and a four-time ECNL Champions League qualifier. She was also a US Youth Soccer Olympic Developmental Program goalkeeper in 2023.
Mia Herrera
Position: Center Midfielder
Height: 5'5"
Hometown: Miami, Florida
High School: Nova Southeastern University School
Club: Florida United Girls Academy
A member of Argentina's U17 Youth National Team, center midfielder Mia Herrera makes her way to St. Charles from Miami, Florida. Herrera has participated in two Youth National Team camps, including the USA ID Camp in 2022 and the Argentina U17 Camp in 2025. She also competed at the Girls Academy Southeast ID Showcase the last four seasons and was a 2024 All-Broward County First-Team selection for Nova Southeastern University School. Herrera signed a USL Academy Team Contract with Fort Lauderdale United FC.
Peyton Johnson

High School: Oswego High School
Club: Galaxy Soccer Club GA
A native of Oswego, Illinois, center back Peyton Johnson brings a championship-winning pedigree to Lindenwood. As a member of Galaxy Soccer Club GA, Johnson was a Girls Academy National Champion in 2025 and a US Youth Soccer National Champion in 2023 and 2024. At the prep level, she was a three-time All-Conference and All-Sectional selection (2023, 2024, 2025) at Oswego High School.

The Lions finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 10-5-5, finishing third in the OVC before advancing to the conference tournament final for the second consecutive season.
