Coming off a sweep of Robert Morris on home ice last week, the Lindenwood men's hockey team keeps things at Centene on Thanksgiving weekend for a two-game set against fellow independent LIU. The Lions are riding a four-game win streak, which is the longest in the program's four-year history.
Last Time Out
The Lions secured their first home sweep (and third overall sweep) of the season with a pair of wins over Robert Morris last weekend. LU won 6-2 on Friday as four Lions recorded multiple points, headlined by defenseman
Nolan Seed with five points. The Lions outshot the Colonials 50-24 in the game, limiting RMU to just five shots on goal in each of the final two periods as
Liam Beerman collected 22 saves to move his record in net to 4-1. LU went 2-3 on the power play in the contest.
Lindenwood completed the sweep on Saturday with a 5-3 comeback win. After falling behind 2-0 in the first period, the Lions outscored the Colonials 5-1 the rest of the way.
Giovanni Morneau led LU with three points on a trio of assists while
Klayton Knapp racked up 28 saves.
