Coming off a bye week, the Lindenwood men's hockey team travels to Orono for a two-game set at No. 15 Maine this weekend. The Black Bears will be the third ranked opponent LU has faced this season, and their first on the road. The Lions went 4-1-0 in November and have already tied the program record for wins in a season with eight.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood split their home series against LIU to close out November and finish the month with a record of 4-1-0.

The Lions extended their program-record win streak to five games with a 5-2 win over the Sharks on Friday, surging to victory with four unanswered goals - including three in the third period. Five different Lions scored goals in the contest, with Nolan Seed and Jake Southgate leading LU in scoring with a goal and an assist apiece. In total, eleven different Lindenwood skaters recorded at least one point. Meanwhile, Liam Beerman improved his record in net to 5-1 as he collected 39 saves on 41 shots for a save percentage of .951.

The Lions fell 5-2 on Saturday, Special teams were a key factor in the loss, as the Lions went scoreless (0-6) on the power play while LIU scored a pair of power play goals in the third period. The Sharks created a 41-33 advantage in shots in the contest, outshooting the Lions in all three periods. Klayton Knapp posted 36 saves, which was his third highest total on the season.
