The Ohio Valley Conference announced its Cross Country Runners to Watch on Wednesday, ahead of the 2025 season. Lindenwood student-athletes Isaac Ndiwa and Cadynce Shipman earned recognition.

Ndiwa competed in five meets during his freshman campaign in 2024. He placed third in the 7k at the UIS Prairie Stars Invitational with a time of 21:55.3 and fourth in the 8k at the UT Martin OVC Preview with a time of 24:53.9. Both times were personal bests.

Shipman transferred in from Missouri Western where she has posted times of 11:16 in the 3k and 18:56 in the 5k.

Ndwia, Shipman and the rest of the Lions are set to open the season this weekend at the Redhawks Invitational in Cape Girardeau, Mo. on Saturday, August 29, beginning at 6:15 p.m.
