The Lindenwood women's wrestling team returns to competition this week with a pair of events on the road. The Lions make the short trip to Lebanon, Illinois for a dual against McKendree on Wednesday night before heading to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take part in the Carthage Classic on Sunday.

Last Time Out
The Lindenwood women's wrestling team competed at the Missouri Valley Open on November 21st and 22nd, with Jacinda Espinosa placing fourth in the 138 lb. weight class.
Overall, the Lions went 23-24 at the event and recorded 13 falls, with Makayla Rivera posting a team-high four pins at 180.

National Rankings
The Lions have two wrestlers ranked in the top 10 nationally in their respective weight classes, including Jacinda Espinosa, who is ranked seventh in 138, and Makayla Rivera, who is ranked 10th in 180. Espinosa is ranked second in Region 6, while Rivera is ranked third. Lindenwood is tied for 24th in the NWCA National Tournament Rankings.
