Kylee Richey of the Lindenwood women's volleyball team has been named Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the week following her performance at Eastern Illinois over the weekend.

Richey recorded a total of 25 kills for an average of 3.13 kills per set in two matches. She posted double-digit kills in both matches, posting 11 on Friday before matching her season with 14 terminations on Saturday.

Richey is third on the team with season with 90 total kills, averaging 2.25 kills pet set.

She becomes the second Lions volleyball player to take home an OVC weekly accolade this season, joining Meghan Donoughue.

Lindenwood hosts UT Martin this week for their inaugural home matches of the 2025 season. Match one is scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
