Lindenwood keeps it close to home this week at the Missouri Baptist Open in St. Louis. Action is set to get underway at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16th at the Carl & Deloris Petty SRC.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood took sixth place at last weekend's National Duals after battling their way through the consolation bracket to reach the fifth-place match. The Lions posted wins over Sioux Falls, Quincy, and Sacred Heart while dropping a pair of bouts against No. 6 Presbyterian.

The Lions finished the event with an overall record of 27-23, with Jacinda Espinosa and Makayla Rivera posting perfect 5-0 marks.

  • Jacinda Espinosa (138) is 21-6 this season, leading the team in wins and technical falls (6) while posting a team second-best eight falls. She took first place in the Luther Hill Invitational, placed fourth at the Missouri Valley Open, and finished sixth at the North Central Invitational.
