Lindenwood Women's Tennis won their second straight match to improve to 2-1 on the 2026 season with a 4-3 win on the road over IU Indy back on February 14. The Lions picked up their first doubles point of the season as
Paola Garcia and
Fabiana Labrador picked up their first doubles win as a duo at the number one spot with a close 7-6 (7-4) victory, while
Sofija Dunisijevic and
Michelle Trochez picked up their second doubles win of the season at the number two spot by a score of 6-4. In singles play, Labrador picked up a point for the Lions by winning at the number one spot by scores of 7-6, 3-6, 6-1 and Dunisijevic improved to 3-0 in singles play at the number five spot winning in straight sets by scores of 6-2,6-2.
Megan Caffin won at the number two spot to help the Lions seal the victory over the Jaguars, winning in straight sets by scores of 6-2, 7-6 to pick up her second singles win of the 2026 season.Â

Missouri State enters the match with Lindenwood win an overall record of 4-7. The Bears have dropped their last three contests after previously winning their last two matches over South Dakota and Northeastern State. MSU is led by Freshman Matilde Ercoli who leads the Bears in singles wins with eight while Sophomore Lucy Latham has seven wins in singles play, including a 5-1 record at the number one spot. The duo of Ercoli and Latham are 5-2 overall in doubles play at the number one spot.Â
