Lindenwood Women's Tennis won their third Ohio Valley Conference match of the 2026 season last Wednesday with a 7-0 win over Tennessee State on the road. The victory over the Tigers marked the most conference wins in a single season in the Division I Era for the Lions with two conference matches remaining.

In the match against TSU, Megan Caffin and Mathilde Humbert won their fourth straight singles matches and are both 3-0 in the OVC in singles play this season. Paola Garcia is also 3-0 in conference play as she defeated TSU's Aroa Castillo by scores of 6-3, 6-3 at the number four spot. As a team, Lindenwood is 15-3 overall in singles competition against OVC opponents in 2026. 

Scouting SIUE
The Cougars are 11-2 on the 2026 season and are currently 2-0 in the conference with wins over Tennessee State and SEMO by scores of 7-0 and 6-1. SIUE has won their last six matches in a row with their last loss happening back on February 21 at Marquette by a score of 4-3. The Cougars have four players who have won 14 or more singles matches this season, and they are led by Senior Paloma Hennicaux who is 16-3 overall and has won her last seven singles matches primarily at the number five spot. The Lions are 0-5 all-time against SIUE and are searching for their first win over the Cougars in the Division I Era.
