The Lindenwood Women's Tennis team fell yesterday afternoon on the road at SEMO by a score of 5-2.
Paola Garcia and
Fabiana Labrador were able to pick up singles wins at the number one and four spots with straight set victories, but the Redhawks won the rest of the singles matches with three of the final four matches being in two sets, and SEMO also took the doubles point to hand the Lions their second straight loss for just the second time during the 2026 Spring season. Lindenwood ends their 2026 campaign with an OVC record of 3-2 and are currently sitting in third place in the conference, which would be their best finish in the OVC during the Division I Era.Â
Scouting Bradley
The Braves are 6-10 on the 2026 Spring Season and have a conference record of 2-2. They have three players who have 10 or more singles wins this season and are led by Sophomore Ruby Tseng. Tseng has an overall singles record of 19-4 this season and has half of her wins at the number two spot with a record of 9-1. Meanwhile, Valeriia Ivanovskaia is 7-7 at the number one spot and will go up against Labrador who is 6-6 at the number one spot.Â
The Braves and Lions are 1-1 against each other in the all-time series with Lindenwood taking the last match between the two squads by a score of 5-2 in St. Charles last season.
Sarah Ben Aba and Labrador each picked up singles victories in the win over Bradley to help the Lions improve to 2-4 on the season in 2024-25.Â
