strong The Lindenwood beach volleyball team has been awarded the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award. During the spring semester, the Lions posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.54, with six student-athletes possessing perfect 4.0 grade point averages.

2026 marks Lindenwood's fourth consecutive year as an AVCA Team Academic Award recipient, reflecting the program's strong commitment to the classroom.

"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."
