Lindenwood Beach Volleyball Head Coach Alli Duckworth has announced five additions to the Lions' 2027 roster, including three transfers – Ally Doty, Audra Gorder, and Rachel Pickens – and a pair of freshmen – Ariel Fogarty and Gabbie McCurdy.
Ally Doty joins the Lindenwood program by way of Tusculum, where she posted an 18-16 overall record as a freshman at Tusculum, including a 10-7 record at the fives and 8-9 record at the fours. The Calgary, Alberta native also earned SAC Pair of the Week honors while a member of the Pioneers.Â
Audra Gorder, a Chandler, Arizona native, spent her freshman year at Concordia University Irvine, where she was an NCAA Division-II National Champion. She competed on the varsity ones pair all four years of high school, winning All-Region Defensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore and junior, and All-Region Player of the Year recognition as a senior.
Rachel Pickens, who hails from Charlottesville, Virginia, joins the Lions from Richard Bland College, where she spent two seasons as a member of the beach volleyball team. While competing for the Statemen, Pickens played up and down the lineup in the twos, threes, fours, and fives, earning 18 career wins.
Ariel Fogarty hails from Washago, Ontario, Canada where she was a member of Team Ontario's U23 squad. At the prep level, Fogarty competed for Orillia Secondary School, where she was named Jr. Girls Volleyball MVP for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. She also received Barrie Elites Most Improved Player honors in 2022-23.
Gabbie McCurdy is an Indianapolis, Indiana native. She captained her high school beach volleyball team and was a two-time Academic All-State Gold selection for her indoor squad.
The Lions posted a 19-9 overall record in 2026, advancing to the OVC Tournament Championship match and setting new program high marks for total wins and conference victories (7).
