The outdoor men's and women's track and field teams competed at the 83rd annual Kansas Relays this weekend in Lawrence, Kan.
There were no team scores kept.
Saturday Recap
The final day of the Kansas Relays saw few Lindenwood athletes competing, but those that did made the most of their opportunities.
Lisa Hughes put together another top performance, finishing fifth in the women's discus. Jessica Ecker placed 10th in the event to give Lindenwood its second event in which it had two top 10 finishes.
On the men's side, Mike Tzianos finished ninth in the discus.
Friday Recap
The women's team was the only one to post top finishes on what was a quiet day for Lindenwood. Cecilia Mboua was fourth in the triple jump and Lisa Hughes placed 11th in the shot put.
Thursday Recap
The men's decathlon and the women's hepathlon concluded Thursday afternoon after two days of competition.
Ryan Orallo recorded the best finish among Lindenwood athletes, taking eighth in the decathlon with 5,335 points. His best finish came in the 100 meter dash where he placed fifth. Teammate Nolan McCoy was 12th in decathlon as well.
In the women's heptathlon, China Moore posted 4,088 points, good for a 12th place finish.
Lindenwood had two runners place in the top 10 of the unseeded 800 meter run. Joshua Schmidt was second and Noe Hernandez finished ninth. Matt Petersen and Nicholas Yegon were 13th and 14th respectively in the event.
In other results, Mitchell Heady finished 14th in the men's hammer throw.
