The Lindenwood men's volleyball team opened up conference play on the road Tuesday night with a victory over Missouri Valley by the scores of 25-13, 25-15, 20-25, 25-18.
Offensively,
Mike Warren and
Rick Hess led the Lions with 14 and 12 kills respectively. Setting up those hitters were
Mike Larson with 27 assists and
Carson Grissinger with 16 assists. Both Larson and
Raphael Mattos added a service ace. On the defensive side,
Mike Emerick totaled 16 digs, while
Matt Schmack recorded eight total blocks.
Bradley Johnston performed well in both areas of the game, totaling 11 digs and nine kills.
This weekend, Lindenwood will travel on the road to face Park University in another conference matchup.
