The Lindenwood track and field program kicked off the indoor portion of their 2011-12 season Saturday afternoon as they competed at the Saluki Fast Start at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Terah Fullman posted a fourth place finish in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:02.23. On the men's side, Elrich Walker recorded an 11th place finish in the men's 400-meter dash as well as the recording a 23.69 finish time in the 200-meter dash. In the weight throw, Nick Orf finished in the top 10 throwing an impressive 14.96m and placed 11th in shot put with a 13.34m throw.

The track and field team will be back in action in 2012 as they travel to Columbia, Mo., to compete in the Missouri Invitational on January 6.
