On Saturday, the Lindenwood track and field team hosted the Lindenwood Last Chance Meet in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions won two events on the rainy afternoon. Keith Kotan was first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.00, while Nick Orf took home first-place in the shot put with a mark of 13.95 meters.

Other finishes included Mike Tzianos placing second in the discus throw with a distance of 48.97 meters, Claudia Mieke coming in third in the shot put with throw of 11.03 meters, and Bryan Kurtz and Tzianos placing second and third, respectively, in the shot put.

The Lindenwood track and field team now awaits the announcement of qualifiers for the NAIA National Championship.
