The Scott Roberts era for the Lindenwood track and field programs started on Saturday at the Redbird Open Indoor Invitational.

The top performance on the day came from Terah Fullman who won the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.36. Among the runners she defeated were ones from NCAA Division I Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Western Illinois. Fullman won the event by nearly half a second.

Fiona Brooks finished third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.23. In women field events, Lindsey Blackwell was fourth in the shot put with a mark of 12.33m and fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.50m.

Individually on the men's side, Rodney Mays had the top showing with a third-place finish in the 60m hurdles. He finished in a time of 8.95.

In the relay events, the women's 4x400 relay was runner-up to Illinois State. The Lady Lions finished the race in a time of 4:13.46. The men's 4x400 relay team was third in its race with a mark of 3:32.84.

Lindenwood is now off until the Illini Open on Jan. 12.
