The Lindenwood track and field teams competed at the Central Missouri Classic on Friday where they had their best showings during the field events.
Joshua Stewart had the best outing of the day for Lindenwood as he finished third in the 200 meter dash followed by Jonas Kerhbaum in seventh. Kerhbaum also placed sixth in the 400 meter dash where
Elrich Walker finished right behind him in the same event
Other Lions included
Nicholas Orf finishing sixth in the men's shot put,
Ben McGraw placing 10th in the 3,000 meter run and
Rodney Mays placing 13th in the 400 meter dash.
On the women's side,
Mary Brosamer-Senger had the best finish placing sixth in the 800 meter run while Clare Buckman finished fourth in the pole vault in 3.25m. The Lady Lions also had
Kimberly Klenke finish 15th in the 200 meter dash.
The men's and women's track and field team will take a break and come back to compete again on March 30-31 at Washington University in St. Louis.
