The Lindenwood men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Central Missouri Relays in Warrensburg, Mo. The Lady Lions had their meet on Saturday, Feb. 3 while the men's team had its on Sunday.
The women's team had a successful outing as it had two Lady Lions finish in the top five in two events. Terah Fullmann placed second out of 27 participants in the 600 yard run, finishing in 1:29. Meanwhile
Mary Brosamer-Senger placed fifth in the 800 meter run in 2:28 out of 37 competitors. Other top Lady Lion finishes included Clair Buckman placing eighth in the pole vault followed by
Kimberly Klenke finishing in 18th place.
On the men's side, the Lions were able to have similar success as well.
Mike Reynoso had the Lions highest placing when he finished fourth in the 600 yard run in a 1:15. Jonas Kerhbraum finished sixth in the 400 meter dash with
Elrich Walker finishing shortly behind him in ninth place.
Ethan Stack also placed sixth in the 3,000 meter run finishing with a time of 9:22. Several Lions also placed with
Ben McGraw finishing 11th in the 5,000 meter run and
Nicholas Orf placing 10th in the weight throw.
The Lindenwood track and field teams will be back in action as they return to Warrensburg, Mo on Friday, Feb. 17 for the Central Missouri Classic. No meet time has been set.
