The Lindenwood men's volleyball team opened up its western road trip with a 3-0 loss at Hope International. The Lions fell 29-27, 27-25, and 27-25.
Lindenwood had a shot to win all three sets but it couldn't pick up a big point late in the games. The Lions had at least one set point in each set but was 0-for-6 on set points for the match.
Jack Mitchell led the Lions with 11 kills and six blocks,
JM Plummer had a team-high 11 digs, and
Tim Schmidt recorded 30 assists.
Lindenwood, which is now 15-10 on the season, continues its road trip on Tuesday evening with a 7 p.m. (pacific) contest at California Baptist.
