Women's Lacrosse Wins Easter Showdown With Lees-McRae

Box Score The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team won for the seventh time in its last eight games on Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium. The Lady Lions defeated Lees-McRae by a 17-4 score.

The Lady Lions remained perfect on their home field in 2012 after outscoring the Bobcats by a 10-3 score in the first half and a 7-1 margin in the final half. Lindenwood outshot Lees-McRae 33-9, and had eight more groundballs in the game.

Lexi Crusha led the offense with nine points, including eight assists. Kara Cashen had a team-high four goals, and Lindsey Palmer finished with two goals and three assists. Brittany Frankenfeld got the win in goal and made four saves. Kathryn St. George led the Lady Lions with four groundballs.

Lindenwood improves to 8-2 on the season. The Lady Lions are home again on April 13 with a contest against American International at 6 p.m.
