The top Lindenwood track and field athletes competed on Friday at the Jayhawk Classic in Lawrence, Kan.
Lindenwood's top performance on the day came from Terah Fullman in the 600-yard run. She ran a time of 1:25.51, the second-fastest mark in school history. That time won the first session of the race, and was over four seconds better than the second session heat.
The top men's highlight came from
Mitchell Heady in the weight throw. His best throw of 17.97m was the best collegiate mark on the day and finished second overall behind an unattached thrower.
Other notables on the day included
China Moore advancing to the finals in the 60m hurdles and
Mike Reynoso finishing sixth in the first session of the 600-yard run.
Lindenwood continues its season next week at the Mule Relays.
