The Lady Lions tennis team had a successful showing in the Principia Invitational in Elsah, Ill. on Friday and Saturday. A number of players recorded multiple wins on the weekend.
Gloria Marras played at No. 2 for Lindenwood this weekend and she finished the Invitational with a record of 2-1 in singles play. She only lost one game in her 6-1 6-0 victory over Quincy's Michelle Gass.

Sarah Sharpe,
Mariona Pinol and
Daria Ivanova all finished with 2-1 records in singles play as well.
Sharpe and Medvedeva teamed up for two doubles wins on Saturday. They defeated Principia 8-4 and then topped Quincy 8-1. The doubles team of Ivanova and Pinol also won two matches on Saturday when they beat Principia 8-1 and Quincy 8-4.
The women's tennis team will be back in action Mar. 8th in Liberty, Mo. when they take on William Jewell College.
