Box Score The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team continued its hot start to the season on Friday when it defeated Alderson-Broaddus College 19-2. Thirteen different players scored for the Lions. The win moves Lindenwood to 3-0 on the season. 

Melissa Smith shined in the win, scoring four goals and recording three assists for the Lions. Smith now has seven goals and six assists this season. 

Maddi Ossello, Melissa Menchella and Shelby Polk each scored two goals and one assist apiece. Polk now has a team-leading eight goals this season. Ana Gullett, Kara Wendel, Meghan Chase, Renee Abrolat, Caitlyn Kumkey, Kristine Kapatos, Justiene Groothuis, Lindsey Palmer and Danielle Budde all got on the scoreboard with one goal apiece. 

Goalie Christine Hehmeyer played all 60 minutes in net and recorded one save. 

The Lions face Wheeling Jesuit University on Sunday in Wheeling, WV in a contest that ends a four-game road trip to open the season.
