The Lindenwood women's tennis team beat Truman State in MIAA play on Tuesday to improve its overall record to 4-5. The Lady Lions are now 2-1 in league play.
Lindenwood won all six of the singles matches and dropped just one of the doubles matches on Tuesday.
Adela Slovakova only lost one game on her way to a 6-0 and 6-1 victory.
Daria Ivanova won the number three singles match 6-4 and 6-3. The number five singles match was won by
Mariona Pinol by a score of 6-2 and 6-3.
Gloria Marras,
Sarah Sharpe and
Alexandra Medvedeva all won their matches in three sets.
Pinol and Ivanova teamed up in doubles play to win 8-3. Sharpe and Medvedeva then won the number three doubles match 8-6.
The Lady Lions play again on Friday in a home match against conference foe Nebraska-Kearney at 3:30 p.m.
