Box Score The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team opened a four-game road trip in Colorado with a 15-13 win on Friday over Regis University. The Lady Lions are now a perfect 8-0 on the season and 3-0 in the WILA.

Four Lindenwood players recorded hat tricks in the win. Shelby Polk, Melissa Smith, Melissa Menchella, and Justiene Groothuis all helped carry the load offensively with three goals apiece. Ana Gullett, Maddi Ossello, and Erin Abbott rounded out the scoring for the Lady Lions with one goal apiece. 

Lindenwood trailed for the first time this season when it found itself losing 7-6 in the first half before regaining the lead. A second-half run by Regis gave the Lady Lions more trouble. Trailing 13-12 late in the second half, Lindenwood held Regis scoreless for the last 12 minutes and reeled off three goals to take the lead for good. 

The Lady Lions will try to remain undefeated when they travel to Grand Junction, Colo. to take on Colorado Mesa University on Saturday.
