Several of the top Lindenwood women's track and field athletes were in action over the weekend at the Drake Relays.
Individually,
Jessica Ecker had two top-15 showings in throwing events. She came in 12th in the javelin and 16th in the discus.
In relay events, the 4x200 team came in ninth, the 4x100 squad came in 12th, and the sprint medley relay also finished 12th.
Several other men's and women's track and field athletes also competed at the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa. Lindenwood won four events at the meet. On the women's side,
Kimberly Klenke won the pole vault and the 4x400 team took first. On the men's side,
Edgar Garza won the pole vault and
Mike Reynoso won the 400m hurdles.
Lindenwood concludes its season next weekend at the MIAA Championships.
