Lilly Peters competed alongside some of the best track and field athletes in the nation on Thursday afternoon. The Hamburg, Iowa native qualified for the Javelin Throw at the NCAA West Regionals in Fayetteville, Ark.

The sophomore finished ninth in the flight and recorded her best mark on her first throw at 44.16m. She concluded her season with a 38^th place finish overall.
